Вибір даного твору зумовлений бажанням популяризувати українських авторів серед юних читачів. У випадку з цією книгою, читачам буде легко асоціювати себе з головними героями, адже це звичайні хлопці з Києва, які шукають собі пригод у тих реаліях, що й читачі.
Створивши привабливу обкладинку, яка зачепить погляд дитини та ілюстрації які доповнять фантастичні пригоди, книга матиме більше шансів опинитись на дитячій полиці.
Головною метою при оформленні даного твору, для мене стало надати та підкреслити містичність подій які відбуваються з головними героями. Створити атмосферу та настрій стало для мене основною задачею.

Illustrations and design for A. Kokotyukha's book "Scary Stories"
The choice of this work is due to the desire to promote Ukrainian authors among young readers. In the case of this book, it will be easy for readers to associate themselves with the main characters, because these are ordinary guys from Kyiv who are looking for adventure in the same realities as the readers.
By creating an attractive cover that will catch the child's eye and illustrations that will complement the fantastic adventures, the book will have a better chance of being on the children's shelf.
The main purpose in the design of this work, for me, was to provide and emphasize the mystique of the events that take place with the main characters. Creating an atmosphere and mood was my main task.
