NYPD Station
Astor Place, NYC
The NYPD Station located at Astor Place in NYC was designed in section. Inspired by studying the autoimmune disease lupus, I studied diseased cells in cross section. Autoimmune disease occurs when something triggers the body to think that it's own cells are harmful antibodies and the cells begin to attach the body. The comparison of autoimmune disease to society's criminal behavior blended well when designing a police station for Manhattan. Spaces were designed with the idea of need and function, then lofted together with adjacent spaces to create form.

Hybrid Object + Environment
3D Max Class

The goal for this project was to create a hybrid object; I chose to create a scroll saw toaster. The second half of the project was to model an environment for your new object. Both renderings (and lighting) were created using 3D Max.
