Foreword

Eukaryotes are the organisms that have cells with a nucleus. These particles form the human body. I was amazed that behind the limits of human eyes there is another form of life, another universe. Microscopic images of cells inspired my colour palette and textures.

In my research I studied spherical constructions in clothing. Cristobal Balenciaga’s O-silhouette garments especially influenced my work. Part of my background is working with dance artists and making costumes for performances. This heavily affected my vision as well.

There are two things in garments that interest me most: comfort of movement and performative quality. That is why some models are more sporty while others are sculptural and interact with human body. Since clothes are 3-dimentional, experimentation on the mannequin is the most important stage of design for me. This tool is often underestimated, though. For each garment I used experimental cutting techniques: subtraction cutting, kinetic garment construction, japanese TR cutting, etc.

My customers are more likely to be the people who break the stereotypes about their gender. They live in a bubble - the wold of their imagination.
