The ethics of organ donation
The aim of this project is to promote and encourage organ donation amongst different religious groups. There are a number of concerns about this process and the purpose of the information cards and posters is to reassure people that organ donation is accepted by all major world religions. The poster and organ cards are designed to convey a clear, simple message that organ donation is acceptable and encouraged. They are designed to be displayed in hospitals, schools, shops and other social areas.
Ethics of organ donation: donor cards
Each design will have a pictogram of different religious groups that are easily identifiable by their colour, text and iconography, which allows a personal feel for each group. This is in contrast to existing NHS donor cards that simply display information in the same colour.
