During the Covid-19 pandemic I didn't have much access to supplies or materials so I decided to try and create some repurposed wood projects. This project was designed from old pressure treated fence boards that were in my garage from a few summers back. 

I wanted this table to be multifunction as something like a tv stand or foot table for a bed. I also wanted to have it tie-in with my Jot Bedside table and have section where you would be able to draw or take notes on. I did this by painting a section with black chalkboard paint which gave it a classy modern colour scheme and added that functionality. 

I didn't have access to wood glue or clamps while building this so I opted for some steel nail plates I had lying around as my fasteners. I finished the table with some steel Ikea legs to give it a nice lift and finished the wood with Osmo wood wax.
