We've designed the 2019 Annual Report for the State Commission for the Protection of the Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia. The work included valuable content on the general and latest activity of the Commission and lots of data for information graphics. The Report is planned to be designed annually, using the general layout we've developed for 2019 Report.
Color palettes
PANTONE's Living Coral was chosen as the main color, with 2 darker tones, and some colder and grey tones.
Cover
We were planning to design cover that has to meet the following criteria:
1. Provide creative freedom for designers in future,
2. Keep official look, not dropping into crazy art woods,
3. Design a universal look for all upcoming volumes in future.
We split the cover into 2 parts. Upper part includes the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia, agency name and large title of the year. Lower part has colored square, that may include any piece of art, painting or photography, abstract drawing, pop-art bins or Leibovitz group portraits.
The cover will preserve common look, while providing full freedom of creative thought for anyone, who will have to design reports in the coming years.
Infographics
Several dozens of comprehensive data-sets were provided, covering the Commission activity, monitoring of Armenia markets of consumer goods, food and others, amount of violations, committed by local companies - lots of valuable data, that was enjoyable to visualize. About half of the 100 page report consisted of charts, graphs and maps - something we always really like to design and are always proud of.
