With the ongoing COVID crisis, it is important to understand the transmission and the effect of the virus which has made it a pandemic. Covid 19 belongs to the Coronavirus family which also includes the SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) virus.
