Absurd Realities
Absurd Realities visually explores the four main identified filters through which we experience the world in four separate chapters: 'Environmental influences', 'The Body: A Sensory Device', 'Cultural Biases', and finally, 'Rationality, Reason & Science'. To categorise these, however, is not to say that they are not interwoven in an unfathomable complexity. There are various mini artworks featured in this book, gouache sketches and colour pencil. It is coptic stitched with French fold pages. Between the folds are gouache painted impressionism-inspired patterns, used as emphasis for our subjective perceptions.
