In 2019, I started to illustrate two posters - one for CD Projekt Red's, Cyberpunk 2077, and one for Naughty Dog's, The Last Of Us Part II.
The highly anticipated video game sequel to the 2013 multi-award-winning PlayStation exclusive, follows on five years after the events of The Last of Us, and the protagonists, Ellie and Joel, have begun living in a settlement in Jackson, Wyoming.
This time you follow in Ellie's footsteps, as she seeks to avenge and destroy the cults that have threatened her and the people within her settlement.

The poster was sketched and draw completely by hand, using brush pens to outline the characters, backdrop and symbolism in the poster.
I love to draw work out traditionally due to the line work the brush pen creates, it's a unique medium and when you move this into Photoshop, it creates such a rough and raw feel to the artwork...

One the artwork was scanned professionally, it was then taken into Photoshop to digitally paint and render.
Some of the characters were adjusted, enlarged or cleaned up - before I then painted the base colours and edited the palette towards the end...
