In December 2019, a group of institutes - NCF, NCBS, SACON & IISER Tirupati -  came together to conduct a 'Certificate Course in Basic Ornithology: Research & Conservation' held at IISER Tirupati, India. Based on the video recordings of this course, a team at NCF planned to release an online lecture series for each of the talks that were held. This series consisted of 22 lectures conducted by 6 speakers and was created to be a freely accessible online resource. The target audience for this included students - primarily at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and early PhD scholar levels.

The visual collateral and identity was first created for the physical course that took place in December 2019 - including posters, name tags and certificates. In March 2020, the design from these was carried forward to the online repository for the videos. The communication design for this included the compilation and editing of all the recorded talks along with the website design.
