Forward is a school movie poster project for a composition course. The project is about to make a movie poster with a different genre approach. I was assigned to do Forrest Gump with a genre of Sci-Fi.
Obstacle: To create a semiotic movie poster from the chosen movie and genre.
Also, coming up with a story.
Solution: My final movie poster is based on Forrest Gump that found his capability or his strength. During his childhood, he had problems with his back causing him to wear leg braces. Gump constantly gets bullied but with the support of his friend, Jenny, she advised him to “Run, Forrest, Run” which instantly changed his life. His leg braces began to break apart and he can now run as fast as a vehicle.

I decided to named the title, “Forward” to remind the audience that “to put the past behind before you can move on.’’ Basically, his running is a metaphor of moving on.
THANK YOU
