2013 Student Silver ADDY - Monkey Placemat
I initially created a radial pattern of two monkeys entangled in vines, coconuts, leaves, and bananas for a class project. I then took this pattern to make placemats for my neice and nephew. This placemat design won a student silver ADDY. I then applied the pattern towards a full dish set which included a plate, a bowl, a large drinking cup, a travel mug, and silver ware. Additionally a party set was made consisting of disposable plastic plates, small disposable cup, napkins, party hat, gift bag, and mask. I could see this expanding further to party invitation, table clothes, and games.
