Hello Yelocious!

This is our new work portfolio for a Modern Vintage Cafe in Yogyakarta, Indonesia named LOKANOA.

This project was led by our co-founder Riopurba.

LOKANOA is a modern western cafe in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, that brings the vintage meets the modern ambience.

In the first meeting, the Owner of LOKANOA brand directly gave the limitation to us to design the vintage modern wordmark , with a simple design so it would be adaptable to applied in vary medias.

From the our research in YeloStd, we propose a responsive logo, means that the layout of this logo could be changed or expanded. You can see the preview below :

The responsive logo above looks simple, yet too playful instead for represent the LOKANOA brand. So we, the YeloStd team kept exploring the logo concept. And finally we got what the client wanted.

We designed a custom wordmark with the vintage-modern style, where we were using the letter Ó (o–acute) to represent the "western" culture. this concept was well received by the client.
