Petshop Days | online festival dedicated to pets




2020 year has just begun and has already greatly changed a lot in our being. All festivals and events were canceled due to a pandemic. It was not allowed to gather more than two people, but … internet is still working (luckily), that means, online festivals cannot be cancelled!




The team of Petshop Days festival tries out new ways to stay connected with their audience. Therefore, my team got a task to update festival’s corporate identity we developed in the beginning of the year. We used the key idea as a basis and added some details which represented "online" in graphics. 
The main metaphor, we considered, was "digital tools". What is it about? Web browser blank page, 
Mac Os tittle bar buttons and notification signs.






Digital design medium allows to use easily a wide range of effects, styles and "tricky" colours without loss of quality. We boldly experimented with blurred contours, saturated colours and its combinations without fear that it can be displayed incorrectly on printed materials. Due to the fact that the most of announcements and posters were assigned for Instagram, we picked additional accent colours and developed diverse shapes for clipping masks destined for a photo content placement.
