Todos hemos perdido algo estos días tan raros (y un poco surrealistas) de pandemia, y si hay algo cuya ausencia también nos ha chocado, eso han sido las fiestas y celebraciones varias que ni se han llevado a cabo, ni podrán hacerlo mientras este panorama tan incierto continúe.
Sin embargo, todas estas fiestas tienen algo en común que hace más llevadero este vacío: un sabor. Es algo tan característico y tan único que, aunque no podamos celebrarlo de la forma que nos gustaría, hace que podamos sentir parte de la ilusión de esos días.
Como proyecto final de este curso, he decidido centrarme en estos sabores y crear 4 diseños de packaging cuyas ilustraciones y su interior hacen que tengamos un pedacito de estas fiestas aunque sea desde casa.
We have all lost something in these weird (and somewhat surrealistic) pandemic days and, if we were to talk about a void that most of us have felt, we would be talking about many of the festivals that have not taken and will not take place throughout these uncertain times.
However, all of these festivals share something in common that makes their void a bit more bearable: a flavour. They are something so distinctive and unique that, even though we might not be able to celebrate the way we would love to, they help us experience that same joy - even if it is in a different way.
For this year's final major project, I have decided to focus on those flavours and create four different packaging designs whose illustrations and content might help us bring a tiny little bit of our beloved festivals home.
Además de tener una ilustración principal, cada diseño cuenta también con una ilustración secundaria que representa un aspecto de la fiesta, así como otra imagen para mostrar su contenido.
Besides having a main illustration, each design also comes with an additional one that represents a relevant aspect of the festival, as well as another illustration that pictures its content.
