MOSCHINO S/S 2020 - Illustration series

A series of illustration based on Moschino S/S collection 2020

The combination of art and fashion has always been one of the most energetic and celebrated contaminations since Schiaparelli's time, with the expressive languages of one that end up being the pictorial vocabulary of the other in a completely natural way.

It is along this vein that Jeremy Scott's spring summer 2020 fashion show fits, a collection that draws on shapes and colors from Picasso's immense pictorial production and which aims to recreate the morbid and visceral relationship of the painter with the many women in his life.

Passion and torment, love and betrayal thus come to life in the fashion show looks where the color backgrounds define shapes and moldings with the power of the brush: the models become authentic tableuax vivants for the occasion, and the quotation of illustrious works, from the portrait of “ Woman crying ”at the torture of“ Guernica ”, contaminates herself with the pop language of Jeremy Scott, in new and pleasant aesthetic consonances.
