The body of work that is presented is dedicated to Suicide Prevention. This is a subject I am extremely passionate about because I am a suicide survivor.
Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States. On average, 44,965 Americans die from suicide every year. A quarter of a million Americans survive suicide (which I am included in).
With more knowledge, empathy and compassion we can heal each other every minute of every day. We can all be someone’s support. We can choose to be there for each other, and most importantly, love each other.
