36 Days of Type là một challenge cho Designer, Illustrator, Graphic Artist thể hiện góc nhìn riêng của mình về hệ thống bảng chữ cái Alphabet.

36 Days of Type là một cơ hội để mình thử nghiệm, học hỏi & thoát ra khỏi khuôn khổ cá nhân.

Những artworks được mình mockup lên ấn phẩm khác nhau bao gồm bìa cứng, sổ & poster A4 nhằm tăng tính đa dạng cho sản phẩm, ngoài ra còn tạo cho mình 1 không gian để luyện tập mockup.

36 Days of Type is a yearly open call inviting designers, illustrators and visual artists to share their view on the letters and numbers from our alphabet.

This challenge is a opportunity for experimenting, learning & going out of the box.

I used mockup on my artworks to bring more divers to the project, also it's a good way to learn more about doing mockup.

Một số bản sketches trước khi bắt tay vào sản phẩm hoàn chỉnh. Việc thực hiện sketch giúp mình lôi hết những ý tưởng ra khỏi đầu, để có thể bắt đầu việc lọc ý tưởng.

Some sketches i made during the brainstorming process. This helped me pull out all of the ideals out of my head, including both bad & good ideals.

Cách tiếp cận của mình trong challenge này đó là biến những con chữ & số thành những vật chất trừu tượng, đây cũng là cơ hội để mình trải nghiệm thêm về bố cục, ánh sáng & chất liệu.

My approach to this challenge is to transform individual letter to abstract object, this created a great opportunity for me to experiment with form, lighting and texture.

Number letters from 0 to 9

Mặc dù những con chữ chưa có được sự đồng nhất, tuy nhiên con số cuối cùng của mình vinh dự được chọn bởi ban tổ chức 36 Days of Type và đăng trên @36daysoftype.

Although all of the letters don't get the consistent look, but happily my last number, the number 9, were selected by a curratorship and published in the 36 Days of Type instagram account.
