Illustrating Italy
[Objective]
To promote an Illustration Study Abroad in Italy. Design promotional materials that draw the attention of art school students and stimulate their sensibility to encourage more students to participate in the event. The goal is to create a design that is easy to understand and make them interesting.
[Approach]
I designed a series of posters, website, and booklet to promote an Italian illustration-study trip. I considered how students would approach this event with a more friendly design to emphasize that this event is an enjoyable trip, rather than an extension of the class. For the purpose of illustration trip, I drew images instead of using photos, and used handwriting type for a friendlier feel. Various colors and humorous details reflect Italian beauty and unique sensibility.
