As part of the Penguin Random House Student Design Awards competition for 2020 I re-designed the cover of children's' classic Good Night Mr Tom. Having read the book when I was younger I decided to focus my design on the relationship between William, Tom and Sammy the border collie. I chose to show the characters sharing a moment together overlooking the the peaceful country side, with spitfires passing by in the distance to serve as a reminder of the on-going conflict.
