For my final major project I have created promotional material for an 'up and coming exhibition' for the V&A celebrating 30 years of iconic front women in rock. I have decided to focus on four influential decades, a time when the music scene was very much male dominated. The 'exhibition' will showcase the women and their undeniable impact on the industry; the posters represent individual decades. Through the medium of traditional illustration I hope to take a fresh approach on decades of past and embody these powerful front women who have pioneered and influenced a generation as well as broken boundaries within the music industry.
