Dan Sumner - Electric Light
A Japanese inspired watercolour/ink animation. Each scene was based off imagery Dan took during his travels in Iceland to mimic the desolate landscapes. The animation combines live action filming of ink and watercolours bleeding into a page, with frame-by-frame elements and traditional 2D techniques.
