An indoor racing entertainment destination commissioned the Placemaking Studio to invigorate their dining area with a novel concept - bring the street experience of food truck hot spots indoors. 

Using the main plaza in San Antonio as inspiration, we began deconstructing the components that made it a place people were drawn to. A reconstructed, indoor version complete with lit "sky," varied seating options, sculptural trees, fun food choices, and space to gather under the entry promenade shade structure took this dining concept to the next level. Actual trucks were cut in half, wrapped with our themed graphics, and placed within the perimeter wall of the food hall with fully operational kitchens behind to feed droves of ravenous racers. 

A new set of truck concepts were designed per client's direction.
