How do people perceive you, your personality, your background, your style, your language and your opinion? We are all individually recognized by how we talk, dress and move. Today’s youth are struggling between the two identities; the social media and their own. People always try to satisfy both to build their image, there is a constant battle between those two; they try to show some parts of their identity that they have never developed before to satisfy their own individual character. This type of behavior can be taken as an act of immaturity and ignorance. As we grow older, the identity begins to play a bigger role in our lives, as we get more independent, we learn through our mistakes and have to take consequences for our actions. The way we represent ourselves is a lifelong process and in my body of work, I have been trying to reveal identities; real identities. The Natural image of the youth doesn't necessarily have to mean that we are all classified as one, we all have different personalities and this is how I want my images to be perceived. Every individual photograph means something and represents a different character.
