Another entry for the Character Design Challenge group on Facebook. This time, the theme was to re-design a character from the Studio Ghibli famous movie "Spirited Away".
I decided to draw the main character, Chihiro, as an older girl wandering through the Harajuku neighborhood, years after the events of the movie, strongly influenced by stuff she assumes live only in her dreams, unaware of the universe she encountered long ago.
I tried to include as many elements of the movie as I could, and give it a modern look.
