Sapardi Djoko Damono is a well-known senior Indonesian poet and writer. "Mantra Orang Jawa" is one of his works published back in 2005 now has a revamp with a fresh and rejuvenating book cover design published (soon) by Gramedia Pustaka in 2020. Mantra Orang Jawa is a collection of poems with mystics and spiritual elements written in a way that resemble that of magical spell, hence its title "Mantra Orang Jawa" or "The Spell of the Javanese".
