I chose to do a book of music to the song Love Galore by SZA featuring Travis Scott. I chose to use elements which are iconically tied to SZA and the CTRL album which this song comes from. Some of these aspects include the old TV, computers, and the butterflies which appear throughout the book. I also drew inspiration from the video which is where the still frame is of Travis and SZA as well as the view of the bedroom window.
The song is about a past lover which she regrets dating but still is tempted by. She struggles throughout the song going back and forth blaming herself for dating them and deciding to choose herself. Travis plays the roll of the ex in the song playing back what he has said to her. By the end of the song she still seems unresolved searching for him or some way to fill the void he left.
