Branding & Identity Project

For the Identity project, I decided to go with one of the given titles Pleated Pups. In my eyes, Pleated Pups is a modern pet store for fashion forward pets, which aspires to bring quality and sustainable products to pets and their owners. I wanted the logo to be simple and represent the high fashion aspect I'm going for, but still be approachable enough for anyone to be comfortable to walk in the store. 
Some of my process and logo ideas are shown above. At first I was playing with a lot of bounding shapes and curved lines, after some critique I realized those logos came across more like playful fast fashion than high fashion and quality. Trying out a more rigid style felt too exclusive so I landed on a middle ground.
For my packaging I tried to go as simple as possible. The icons are minimal mostly line work with the Pleated Pups type and our diamond pattern as a decorative element. Below I have attached the flat files of the packaging to get a better look at the details on the packaging as well as a look at what makes up our diamond pattern.
