A DAY OF CAMPING in the Pixel Wood Forest is a personal 3D Illustration project. All the shots follow a timeline throughout the day and tell a story showing different camera angels, models, and lighting.
I was inspired to create this project after completing a great workshop at Mograph Mentor with instructor Paul McMahon. At the end of the course, Paul challenged us to take on a project using our new skills and I picked… camping!
I took on the challenge and then some. I built all the models, (which somehow keep growing), and also dropped them all into a forest scene to live in. Many, many, many hours later, I ended up with a full day of camping!
