Experimenting with kintsugi (many japanese aesthetic concepts ring very powerfully to me: wabi-sabi, mono-no-aware ...there is a wonderful struggle with control and release, acceptance and resistance...). I started with fairly conventional applications and have so far oriented myself toward the repair of objects of no value. My favorite to date is the orange clay brick (the pale brick is nice, but looks a bit too noble for my intentions). I intend next to find broken consumer objects/toys/the worthless detritus of society and repairing them with this technique (but have run out of gold and can't afford more right now)...
