This is my monster project. This project is definitely one of my favorites. I made a headless mule with a little fire sprite companion. 

I decided this design would look amazing on a t-shirt as promotional material for the story.

Legend of the Headless Mule

Once a mother and her child lived in very poor conditions. A nobleman came through and gave all the villagers gold to help them buy necessary items in the nearby town. Everyone was grateful to the nobleman, but the mother wanted to get more to provide for her child later. Unfortunately, she decided to steal more than she needed from the nobleman. When her crime was discovered by the town, she was punished by being turned into a headless mule with fire bursting from her neck stump along with her child who was turned into a small fire sprite. The punishment for the mother's sins is to roam the earth and help travelers that get lost on the country roads and warn people to not steal lest they suffer a similar fate.
