Whie shooting the marketing campaign for the following year's ANA Inspiration women's golf tournament, at last year's event in Palm Springs, CA, I shot portraits of some of the players on the course.
I shot on a 70-200 lens at very wide aperture to really throw the background out of focus, and shot into the sun but filled in the shadows with flash (you can see the actual sunlight on the players' faces and left hand sides in the main images, and how much her right hand side is in shadow in the behind the scenes shot).
