For this mixed media project, I looked for a famous painting that I like from the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. analyzed it and picked a specific section to focus on more for my project. I used unconventional materials such as a trash bag, tictac, and straws to recreate the section of the painting. This taught me to use my creativity as a way to understand the painting more.
