I was pretty proud of how this book turned out. There were a lot of concepts that I discussed with our lab director, who had a much more conservative take on this than I did. As it was our 30th anniversary and we had really underplayed our 25th anniversary, this needed to be a bit more spectacular. We got permission from Felice Frankel to use photographs of devices she took that were affiliated with the history of our lab, and I chose to print on Stardream paper for a little extra subtle metallic shine. The director was very much sold on the plastic comb binding versus wire binding, so I did not win that battle.
