Incorporate and utilize layer masks in your composition.
Incorporate and utilize Smart Filters in your composition.
My concept was to do a fashion style magazine but part zombie. Glamour was the magazine that influenced part of the design.
Use of royalty free image  for the baxkground http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=view&id=1415260 (regards to the photgrapher ShadowRave) A hue/saturation adjustment layer was applied to give it more of an eery colorless feeling.
Use of royalty free model image from http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=view&id=1166626 (regards to the photographer geloo)
Zombified the model with the use of the dodge and burn tool. The skin tone was accomplished by applying a hue/saturation adjustment layer and a selective color adjustment layer.
Applied the typography to make it look like a magazine and used a layer mask to split the model into half zombie half human. This was the final image that was turned in.
