Each student featured in the catalogue is depicted on the cover as a labelled star, their location on the map providing information about their qualification.
The twelve segments represent the six specialisms offered on the course, sized proportionally according to how many students specialise in each area.
The three concentric rings represent each degree classification - the outer ring represents the BA, the largest course, whereas the innermost circle represents the MA which has the fewest students.
The star map system was then used to create a series of icons which denote each student's qualification and specialism throughout the catalogue, located next to their name.
Besides showcasing student's work, the catalogue also promotes the Graphic Design course as a whole, providing information about the course structure, links with industry and extracurricular events.
The students featured in the catalogue are arranged firstly by course (BA Hons or MDes/MA) and then by specialism, within which they are listed alphabetically by surname.
The inside cover consists of a series of stills from the Curated By... Narratives conference, with quotes from two of the speakers.
