This post celebrates my very first year learning 3D! Hurray!

Last year I kept seen the work of so many amazing artists and noticed that all of them were using Blender, so that sparked my curiosity to give it a shot too. Not an easy thing to start with, but there's no turning back once you get bitten by that feeling of excitement to learn something new.

The process you already know: an obscene amount of screen time and sleepless nights during the year digging up tutorials, forums, and courses from a whole bunch of insanely smart and talented people that share all of what they know online. After that, I felt a tiny bit of confidence to give the 36 Days challenge a go. Since I'm a total beginner, I still used many tutorials to help me accomplish it.

It's a very experimental project. Most of the time I just let myself go exploring the tool to see where it would lead me.

Also had to stick with basic designs given the super short time constraints of the challenge (post one letter per day), I guess the important part is how many amazing people I've found along the way, and how much joy and frustration I had while doing it.

If you have that thing on the back of your head that you always wanted to try, I highly recommend you jumping straight into it for a whole year. Start small, and never stop learning :D

Enough talking. I'd love to get your critique to help me grow, so feel free to speak your mind in the comments. Thanks for taking the time.
