Everyone is excited about cotton candy. It has something strangely interesting and attractive in it’s appearance and how easily it can disappear on a tongue. A fair is not a real fair if it has no cotton candy. Also, it’s an exciting material that has lots of potential. 

This project was based on material research and the goal was to find possibilities of working with cotton candy.

Cotton candy is very sensitive to humidity. Using this feature series of experiments were made. During experiments it was noticed what a nice structure a cotton candy get while left in humid environment. It allows to make strange, unique textures while observing a particularly interesting process of a fluffy material becoming just a thin layer of colourful candy. 

In the end of the experiment a new type of candy was created.
