Mexico's Biggest Offering
As part of Día de Muertos—the Day of the Dead—we created a WebGL experience inviting people to honor the dead by creating a 3D altar, the Mexican way. These altars live forever in an infinite graveyard so people can pay tribute to their loved ones from anywhere in the world.
This year, Victoria celebrates Day of the Dead with another cinematic campaign honoring ancient Mexican traditions by bringing the ancient Mayan underworld (Xibalbá) to life. We shot an epic short film in several locations around the state of Yucatán—including an underground reservoir—with real people from across the region. Our in-house post-production department was responsible for all VFX as well as the film’s original score. As part of the integrated campaign, we also produced Mexico's Biggest Offering: a WebGL experience inviting people to honor the dead by creating a 3D altar in memory of those who passed away.
