With this project I wanted to tell a story rather than just say, "Come on in for some hot coffee" and express a strong theme of community. Because the roasting process was such an integral part of the client's business, I found imparting that knowledge on to the reader in a fun way would express to his patrons how much he cares about every cup he serves and creating a close knit community.
The brochure was achieved through pen and ink sketches that were then painted in photoshop using a water color technique. Having been the first time I had done it, I really enjoyed the process and was pleased with the final product.
