Sea and the city

A series of maps of the central waterfronts of Patras, Greece and Tallinn, Estonia, through three periods of their existence, from 1830 to 1970.
The maps were created by overlaying and stitching pieces of historical maps on top of the current satellite images of the cities.
The project of the maps was an early component of my master’s thesis and it was meant to illustrate my comparative analysis of the waterfronts of the two cities.
