A short presentation on commuting solutions for the 21st century. A little bit retro, a little bit grungy, muted, and textured. This was for a design challenge presented by a design team I was on several months ago, where we chose a common problem in process, design, or experience and proposed ideas and solutions. My ideas focused on the history and development of commuting during the industrial revolution, and the tremendous proliferation of options available to us in the Information Age. My solutions focused on working from anywhere, spreading the locations where work is done, as well as spreading work hours over the entire day. To reduce the need for commuting rather than coming up with ways to mitigate traffic problems. This .gif represents four slides that accompanied my presentation.
