Founded in 2008 by its executives and producer/directors Ruggero Di Maggio and Davide Gambino, Mon Amour Films creates and produces innovative unconventional television and film, for both the Italian and international markets.

They focus on storytelling with explosive social impact and a strong cinematographic perspective, working with established and emerging talents.





The Project

After a few interview sessions and a day in the work-life of MAFs, I isolated several quotes that gave me the inspiration to address some of the concepts behind the brand.

These moments were necessary to understand more than the client could tell me by words, observing the work environment and their professional attitude I found the key to interpreting the brand.

The short statements and the investigation behind the project helped me how to better understand and to represents visually the expressed and the unexpressed potential of the company.



The Finalist Logo

Lightbox, cinema’s signage, letterpress, movable type are the keywords that describe the finalist logo, born to belong to a nostalgic cinema's imagery, with a punk soul and a bold presence.

The logo exists in the extended version and in the shrink one to better adapt to all intended uses.

A brand book helps to explain the values, the choices and rules behind the brand identity. This guide it has no purpose to restrict but, otherwise, to drive the conscious use of the branding materials and their possible evolution.
