"GAS CAN"
Montreal, Quebec CAN
c. 2020

This gas can was designed as a submission for the renderweekly challenge ( Season 4, week 4). The challenge was to design and render a gas can. In order to enhance a design or make something new. The designed was inspired by the work of Virgil Abloh and its company Off-White. The helvetica typography within the quotation marks represent the iconic signature of Virgil. The sleek and simple shapes reminds the work of Dieter Rams. The rationality is a key concept in the making of this gas can by omiting the unimportant of the object. This gas can was also inspired by the american "Jerry Cans" used in the US Army today since World War II. The gas can made of textured HDPE is resistant to shocks and heavy use.
A little detail of the texture and the Helvetica typography.
