“Design ability” is a project under development. After a series of meetings and interviews with many subjects suffering from spinal paralysis, came the idea of solving or at least alleviating at least one of the problems that they are forced to face daily. Hence the project of a removable dome to be applied to the most common wheelchair, created to solve one of the most common problems among those highlighted by the people interviewed: the rain.
The thorough study of a complex pattern that constitutes the dome, allows it to open and close automatically with only the entry and subtraction of air, by doing so, the user will have a rain protection completely automatic and quick to use.
The focal point of the project are the materials, specially selected to perform their task in the best possible way but remaining as cheap as possible, so that anyone can afford to buy it.
