This project sparked from an interest in how to synthesize auditory and visual languages and negotiate their differences. The outcome is a generative pattern that uses the constraints of scale and position to respond to mp3 data. Each block of the repeat pattern is flexible, its points interdependent on one another's scale, and the pattern as a whole uses each block's coordinates to visually map the sound.
