Up North is a quarterly lifestyle magazine of unhurried time, celebrating creativity, imperfection and the little pleasures in life. Naming - Up North - is inspired in hygge (Danish concept of creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people) and as a suggestion of the direction where to look for happiness.

Design of a collection of 3 editorial monographs, dedicated to one theme, focusing on the realization and development of one of them with a closed index in advance (consisting of cover, index page, news page and two long articles).

Visual identity is made as playful minimalism. Compass illustration was added as a extra graphical element to give emphasis on concept - the guide to find one's way around.

Binding method: Coptic stitch, to have handmade and slow living feeling.

Each issue have a different color tread, matching cover title color.
