THIS PROJECT WAS MADE BY ME FOR THE TDK CONFERENCE, WHERE I WAS PRIZED WITH A SPECIAL AWARD. THE TASK WAS TO DESIGN A COMMUNITY SPACE NEXT TO THE CITY HOUSE BY USING TWO OLD BARNS FROM THE TOWN. One of the basic principles of my concept is that I try to keep everything as it was, making minimal changes. I would place the two barns parallel to each other and TO the country house on the site, creating interesting floor plans and spatial situations. An important part of my design is the huge barn doors that can be opened through 180 degrees so that different spaces can be created according to different functions, completely FULFILLING to the needs of the users.
