It is widely believed that change is inevitable, and giving a brand a design refresh is the way how to embrace this change. VIAINVEST is a brand representing the dynamic and ever-evolving industry of financial technology or fintech, so the challenge was to turn it into something that would feel accessible and most importantly – would make an impression of a brand you can trust your money with.
Limiting this redesign with a new logo wasn’t an option. The company wanted to go for all fresh everything to give this brand a modern and clean feeling while promoting the best qualities of the awesome and easy to use investment platform. The goal was to capture the accessible and simple character of this platform loved by its many users. Naturally, the new design of the brand had to correspond with the values represented by it – transparency, simplicity, and trust.
To illustrate the open and accessible nature of this platform, a whole bunch of lovely characters was brought onboard. These characters tell the story of investing no longer being something done exclusively by Wall Street guys wearing fancy suits. In the age of technology investing can be handled by anyone right from their home, even with little money.
All of the characters and icons were hand-drawn and then brought to life, highlighting not only the authenticity of the brand but also the tight-knit and loyal community surrounding it.
