The Visitors
Print Design
This is a series that I started in the final months of 2010 and finally finished in mid 2013, almost two and a half years of research and experimenting to get to the four final pieces that represent a fictitious event were four personalities from far away came to visit as ambassadors of their homelands.

For me this was a project made as a tribute for the cultures represented, as they have always fascinated me. The same with their feline personalities, this was a chance to let myself research and know more about them and try the represent them in the most respectful way I could, trying to picture the honour, strength, courage and presence all of them inspire for me.
The Visitors
Four Cardinal Points, Four Cultures, Four Big Cats

Each of the prints represent one culture and warrior spirit, one cardinal direction and one big feline, as a tribute for the diversity of the world, knowledge and strength.

They are represented as this:

Visitor from the East, Samurai Tiger.
Visitor from the South, Songhai Lion.
Visitor from the North, Navajo Cougar.
Visitor from the West, Inca Jaguar.
The visitor from the East
The visitor from the South
The visitor from the North
The visitor from the West
Print Close-Up
An even closer Close-Up
Stamps

As usual I played with the idea of how to expand the idea to other pieces so, to celebrate that I finished the project I made some postal stamp versions of all four of the visitors and I think they looked so cool!
Original Blue
Postal Green
Royal Red
Classic Black
I hope you like them, it was an awesome project to learn and create.
Thanks for watching ;^)
